A community Y in the East Village with a gym used for basketball and other youth activities, plus family fitness and wellness programs. Kids can join sports classes and after-school programs close to Stuyvesant Town.
An Upper East Side taekwondo school with classes grouped by age: preschool (3-4), kindergarten (5-6), kids (7-12) and teens. Younger students work on motor skills while older kids learn self-defense, and the school runs birthday parties and a summer camp.
A city-run community center near the Manhattan Bridge where kids can shoot hoops in the gym and join free after-school and weekend youth sports activities. Staff run organized games and recreation programs for neighborhood children.
