Yes. Asser Levy Recreation Center is indoors, so it works on rainy or cold days.
A martial arts academy offering Little Pandas, an intro class for 4- and 5-year-olds, and a Juniors program for ages 5 to 14. Kids practice Taekwondo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while working on focus, coordination, social skills and character.
An after-school soccer program for kids 8 to 12 at East River Park, held in hour-long weekly sessions. Players train in small groups so coaches can give individual attention.
A seasonal outdoor ice rink on the StuyTown Oval with public skating sessions and skating lessons for kids. Lessons are limited to residents and their guests.
A Kips Bay taekwondo school, running since 1994, with a Tigers class for ages 3-5 and a children's class for ages 6-10. Teens and families have mixed-age classes, and the school runs seasonal camps and birthday parties.
