Three regulation-size outdoor courts by the river near Pier 34, lit for evening play. Kids can shoot around or join pickup games for free on a first-come basis.
A volunteer-run program at Pier 26 in Tribeca that lends out kayaks for free short paddles in a protected embayment of the Hudson. Kids 12 and under ride in a double kayak with an adult, while teens 13-18 can paddle solo.
