A volunteer-run program at Pier 26 in Tribeca that lends out kayaks for free short paddles in a protected embayment of the Hudson. Kids 12 and under ride in a double kayak with an adult, while teens 13-18 can paddle solo.
A lower Broadway martial arts school with kids classes for ages 5-14 that mix Krav Maga, Muay Thai, boxing and jiu-jitsu. Lessons pair practical self-defense with life skills like focus and respect, and classes run five days a week.
The Combat Club youth program for ages 6-14 teaches practical self-defense, anti-bullying strategies, fitness and conflict communication. Kids self-defense classes are also held at this Tribeca location.
An 18-hole, 13,000-square-foot mini golf course on Pier 25 with waterfalls, streams, a pond, bridges, sand traps and a cave. Walk-ins are welcome for a riverside round with kids.
