The Stella Adler Studio's youth program uses 'organized play' to introduce preteens to the Adler acting technique through scene study, improv and technique classes. Classes meet on Saturdays in fall, winter and spring sessions at the studio's Financial District home.

One-week and longer summer camps where kids (10-13) and teens (14-17) learn on-camera acting, working on scenes that get filmed and screened. NYFA also runs 12-weekend youth workshops during the school year.
A kids' musical theater studio where each class rehearses a themed show all year, from Fairytales for preschoolers to High School Musical for older kids, ending in a June performance. The Tribeca studio also offers improv and practical theater skills classes for ages 8 and up.
A school-break acting camp at BMCC's performing arts center where kids rehearse and perform a musical adaptation, such as a Hercules musical during midwinter recess. Kids get to perform on a real theater stage at the end of the week.
A volunteer community theater in Brooklyn Heights that stages a full season of plays and musicals and runs a Theater for Children program. Families can see shows in an intimate space on a quiet Brooklyn Heights side street.
A Brooklyn youth theater program where small casts of up to 12 kids rehearse and stage fully produced shows, from musicals to Shakespeare. Teaching artists hold MFAs and Off-Broadway credits, and groups are organized in narrow grade bands.
