Riverside Park has 10 red clay courts at 96th Street managed by the Riverside Clay Tennis Association and 10 more courts at 119th Street. Young players can practice on public courts right along the Hudson.

Riverside Park hosts six soccer fields and multiple baseball diamonds between 71st and 107th Streets, plus basketball and volleyball courts. Many Upper West Side youth leagues play here, and families can use them informally when not permitted.
Riverside Park has basketball courts at 71st, 76th, 102nd, 111th and 148th Streets and volleyball courts at 102nd, 105th and 148th. Kids can join free pickup games all along the Hudson.
Upper West Side basketball program with weekly skill classes, school-break and summer camps, and competitive teams by grade. Private coaching and basketball birthday parties are also available.
The club's Upper West Side studio near 91st and Broadway offers fencing classes and private lessons for kids and teens. Beginners learn footwork and bouting while competitive fencers train toward tournaments.
Kids are grouped by age: Tiny Tigers (3-5) work on motor skills and listening, Youth Karate (6-8) builds focus and coordination, and Junior (9-12) and Teen (13-16) students learn kata, sparring and belt progression, with teens also taking on leadership and competition.
A long-running Upper West Side nonprofit league where kids from preschool age through high school play recreational or travel soccer. Younger players start in an intro 'Playground' program, while older kids can move into tournament, travel and academy teams coached with a New York Red Bulls curriculum.
