A NYC Parks-licensed riding stable on 21 acres in Van Cortlandt Park offering lessons with indoor and outdoor rings. Children from age 6 start with one-on-one lessons, and there are after-school riding, summer camp and a jumping team.

A Bronx youth soccer club with a beginner-friendly recreational program, a development track, and boys' and girls' travel teams. Players practice weekly, scrimmage and build skills, with travel teams competing in the Westchester Youth Soccer League.
Boys and girls ages 5 to 14 play flag or tackle football, with practices on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings and games on weekends. No previous football experience is needed to join.
A year-round stable in Pelham Bay Park where young children can take walk-up pony rides and kids 6 and older can learn English or Western riding. It also runs a July children's horsemanship program and hayride-style wagon rides.
