Neighborhood YMCA offering youth sports classes and leagues such as basketball, soccer and fitness, plus swim lessons and after-school programs. It serves the Rockaway peninsula.
Rockaway Beach martial arts school affiliated with the Daniel Gracie team, teaching Brazilian jiu jitsu and karate. Children 6 and up can join the kids martial arts program, and there is also a Little Lions BJJ class.
Queens soccer program offering skill-building classes for little ones and full-hour guided games for school-age kids. Older players can join an internal league or a travel team, and there is a summer camp.
