British Swim School holds lessons at this Eltingville pool, starting with babies as young as 3 months. Kids move from water acclimation to survival skills like floating and rolling over, then on to stroke development; adaptive classes are offered too.
Freedom Aquatics teaches its swim school program for kids 3 and up at the South Shore YMCA pool. Children progress from learn-to-swim through skill and technique levels in small classes, with a path onto the club's swim team.
