A nearly four-acre Chelsea park on West 27th-28th Streets with an artificial-turf soccer field, baseball diamonds, basketball courts and six handball courts next to a playground. It is well used by local schools and youth teams.
A Midtown fencing club with Mini Musketeers classes for ages 4-6 and beginner youth classes for ages 7-12, plus intermediate to elite training, open bouting and camps. Beginner equipment is provided.
The headquarters dojo of Seido karate offers Kids Karate for ages 4-12 and Teens Karate for 13-17. Classes build discipline, focus and integrity alongside fun seasonal activities.
A Chelsea grappling school with a kids judo program where children learn throws, falls and groundwork safely. Adults and older students can also train jiu-jitsu, wrestling and no-gi grappling.
A Midtown martial arts academy teaching Brazilian and Gracie Jiu Jitsu to both adults and kids, with an emphasis on self-defense, leverage and footwork rather than fight competition. It is a certified Gracie Jiu Jitsu training center.
