Dynamo Soccer Club trains kids ages 3-18 at Manhattan Beach Park, from intro sessions for preschoolers up to older age-group teams. Players work through a developmental pathway with practices on weekday evenings, and the club also offers private training and a summer program.
A Manhattan Beach self-defense gym teaching Israeli krav maga with a kids program for ages 4-12. Children progress through a belt curriculum that emphasizes confidence, teamwork and anti-bullying skills, and older kids can join a junior leadership track.
Champions teaches kids martial arts in age-grouped classes, starting with a Little Tigers program for the youngest students and continuing through kids, teen and adult classes. Students work on kicks, forms and self-defense while building focus, and the school also offers after-school care, summer camp and a competition team.
A Sheepshead Bay taekwondo school with a Little Dragons class for young children and regular children's classes. Kids build kicking, forms and self-discipline, and the school also hosts birthday parties and private lessons.
One of several Lions Fight gyms in south Brooklyn, offering kickboxing and MMA classes for kids and teens. Young students can also take jiu-jitsu, karate and judo-based self-defense.
