A nonprofit founded by Olympic fencer Nzingha Prescod that teaches fencing to NYC youth at no cost to families. Kids can start in the summer Fencing in the Park program or train year-round in the competitive academy, with extras like tutoring, chess, music and art.

A long-running boxing club in Starrett City, founded in 1978, that trains young boxers and sends them to amateur competitions such as the Golden Gloves, Empire State Games and PAL tournaments. The facility also has a pool, weight room and sauna.
Canarsie branch of Grandmaster Kang's taekwondo school, which runs a Little Dragons program for young children plus children's and adult classes. The school also offers private training and hosts parties.
Free community tennis program from New York Junior Tennis & Learning where coaches teach strokes and match play on park courts. Rackets and balls are provided.
Indoor small-sided soccer center offering 12-week class terms for toddlers through age 12.
Free co-ed youth soccer clinics where coaches teach passing, dribbling and shooting through drills and informal scrimmages. Standout players are invited to end-of-season tournaments.
A Bergen Beach MMA academy with an age-appropriate kids program covering boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu and self-defense. Teens have their own MMA class, and the first class is free.
