No. Sunrise Day Camp is outdoors, so plan for weather, sunscreen and water.
Walk-in classes for babies and young kids with a caregiver, covering open play, music, baby sign language, sensory art, crafts, STEAM and early literacy. Classes are split into narrow age bands from infancy up.
The main building of the Staten Island JCC, a hub for early childhood, youth, and family programming on the Island. Kids can take classes, join after-school and camp programs, and swim in the pool.
A large day camp on 75 wooded acres at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds, with three Olympic-size pools, archery, boating, rock climbing, ball fields and an inflatable game area with mini-golf. Older kids can join teen travel or counselor-in-training tracks, and there is a special needs program and specialty camps.
A Staten Island center with a gym and a woodworking shop that runs classes. Young members can play pickup games, join sports clinics, and take part in arts and enrichment programs offered each season.
A NYCHA community center where a city-funded Cornerstone program run by Jewish Community Center of Staten Island offers school-age kids free after-school activities, homework help, sports, and arts. Summer and school-break programming is also offered for neighborhood youth.
