Youth soccer nonprofit that uses the game to build leaders, combining practices and matches with tutoring, college prep and mentoring. Reaches about 1,900 South Bronx kids each year.
A Harlem nonprofit running tennis instruction, academic support and wellness programming almost year-round at the Harlem Armory. Since 1972 it has served more than 28,000 kids, many of whom go on to college.
Guided tours of the Bronx ballpark take fans through the New York Yankees Museum and Monument Park, where team legends are honored with plaques and retired numbers. Pregame options let families see the stadium before a home game.
Free co-ed youth soccer clinics where coaches teach passing, dribbling and shooting through drills and informal scrimmages. Standout players are invited to end-of-season tournaments.
