Children learn to program by building their own video games, advancing through a belt system similar to martial arts as they master new concepts. Younger kids start in a no-reading-required JR track, while older kids move into game design with real coding languages.
Students get one-on-one or small-group tutoring from certified tutors after an academic evaluation, with plans covering math, reading, writing, science and study skills. Older kids can prepare for SAT, ACT and other standardized tests.
Kids get a personalized math plan after a diagnostic assessment, then work with instructors in small groups on the specific skills they need, from counting and fractions through algebra and SAT prep. Homework help is folded into the sessions.
Children work through coding challenges at their own pace in Scratch, JavaScript, Python and web languages, with dedicated tracks for young beginners, girls-only groups and an AI builders class. Classes meet inside a neighborhood church space, and the program offers after-school pickup from nearby public schools.
Children sharpen math and reading skills with brief daily worksheet assignments set at exactly their level, attending the center on scheduled days for instructor-guided work and correction. Students advance once they master each step, building confidence and concentration over time.
