A 28-acre state park built on top of a Hudson River wastewater plant, packed with sports facilities: indoor and outdoor pools, a covered rink for ice skating in winter and roller skating the rest of the year, a running track, courts, fields, playgrounds and a carousel. Kids can join low-cost youth programs in basketball, baseball, hockey, skating and more.

A large climbing gym on Broadway in West Harlem where kids ages 8-18 can join competitive climbing teams that practice Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Families can also buy day passes and climb together.
Holcombe Rucker Park at 155th Street is one of the world's most famous streetball courts, founded as a youth basketball mission to keep kids engaged. The park also has a baseball field, handball courts, a playground and spray showers.
