Riverbank's athletic complex sponsors youth travel teams in basketball, baseball, football, ice hockey and figure skating. The park also has an 8-lane track with a football and soccer field, tennis and basketball courts and a softball field.

Holcombe Rucker Park at 155th Street is one of the world's most famous streetball courts, founded as a youth basketball mission to keep kids engaged. The park also has a baseball field, handball courts, a playground and spray showers.
A large climbing gym on Broadway in West Harlem where kids ages 8-18 can join competitive climbing teams that practice Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Families can also buy day passes and climb together.
