Rucker Park
Holcombe Rucker Park at 155th Street is one of the world's most famous streetball courts, founded as a youth basketball mission to keep kids engaged. The park also has a baseball field, handball courts, a playground and spray showers.

A covered rink high above the Hudson in Riverbank State Park that offers ice skating in winter and roller skating the rest of the year. It is one of the most affordable places in Manhattan for kids to skate.

A large climbing gym on Broadway in West Harlem where kids ages 8-18 can join competitive climbing teams that practice Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Families can also buy day passes and climb together.
