A neighborhood branch of the Champions taekwondo network, with separate classes for preschoolers (Little Tigers), school-age kids and teens. Children practice kicks, forms and self-defense while working on focus and discipline, and the branch also runs after-school pickup, summer camp and a competition team.
A Maspeth school with a kids martial arts program for ages 6 and up, plus teen and adult jiu-jitsu and kickboxing. Classes run up to four days a week, and new students can start with a low-cost trial pass.
Historic Maspeth soccer ground (founded 1925) that runs a youth academy with boys' and girls' programs, junior development and summer camps. Its top teams compete in MLS NEXT.
