A cooperative jiu-jitsu gym on Rogers Avenue with a dedicated kids program. Children train grappling in classes geared to young students.
Kids learn skateboarding in weekly classes grouped by age, starting with a juniors program for preschoolers. SKATEYOGI also runs holiday day camps, summer camps, private lessons and skate birthday parties.
Long-running family martial arts school in Prospect Heights led by Grandmaster Bill McCloud, teaching Urban Contemporary Ju Jitsu and Sanuces. Children's classes meet after school and on Saturday mornings and focus on confidence, discipline, fitness and self-protection, and parents can train in their own classes at the same school.
