Kids learn to program at their own pace with guided projects in small groups, building games, animations and apps. Instructors coach students individually as they work through a self-paced curriculum.
Students get one-on-one or small-group tutoring from certified tutors after an academic evaluation, with plans covering math, reading, writing, science and study skills. Older kids can prepare for SAT, ACT and other standardized tests.
In this Upper East Side makerspace, children design and build with laser cutters, 3D printers and electronics kits while learning coding and robotics. Programs include weekly after-school classes, summer camps and one-day workshops on school days off.
