The official school of New York City Ballet, training young dancers in classical technique through an audition-based program. Its SAB Open classes introduce toddlers and preschoolers to ballet without an audition.
Youth training at Ailey's Midtown West home, where kids study ballet, Horton modern technique and other styles in a structured program. Ailey Extension also offers drop-in kids and teen classes, and AileyCamp serves middle schoolers in summer.
