A volunteer-run Astoria youth sports league founded in 1958 with its own fields. Kids play tee-ball, baseball and softball in spring and summer and flag football in the fall, with a focus on skills, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Relaxed, non-competitive soccer classes where kids from toddlers to teens are grouped by level and learn ball skills through fun games. SoccerCric also offers personal training, summer camp and developmental team programs.
The Astoria branch of Champions Martial Arts teaches taekwondo-style classes to preschoolers, kids and teens. Families can also sign up for after-school martial arts, summer camp and the competition team.
