Children's enrichment studio (formerly branded CPAD, the Center for Performing Arts and Dance) offering ballet, jazz/tap, hip-hop, Broadway musical theater and movement-based gymnastics, plus piano, chess, art and fashion design. Youngest kids can start in parent-involved classes.

A Lower Manhattan studio with toddler programs like TutuTots, KindiHop and KindiBreaking for ages 1.5-5, and jazz, ballet, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, breaking and theater dance for ages 5-18. Free trials and an annual recital are part of the program.
Tribeca branch of a children's dance studio where kids from 18 months up take ballet, tap and musical theatre, while babies from 10 weeks can join Baby Bop music classes. The studio also offers piano and voice lessons and hosts birthday parties.
Lower Manhattan studio, opened in 2019, where kids study ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, lyrical, contemporary, acro and Chinese dance. Committed students can audition for its performance and competitive companies.
Children learn traditional Irish step dancing, from beginner soft-shoe steps to more advanced hard-shoe rhythms. Classes meet in a Brooklyn Heights parish space and welcome kids as young as toddlers.
A small DUMBO ballet studio offering pre-ballet and ballet group classes for kids 3-7 along with private lessons for all ages. Children learn ballet basics, posture and musicality in a Jay Street studio.
Year-round tap classes for children and teens run by the nonprofit behind the Tap City festival. Advanced young dancers can audition for the Tap City Youth Ensemble, which learns classic and contemporary choreography and performs around the city.
