An award-winning nonprofit for girls that pairs figure skating with academics, leadership and mentoring in its I Can Excel after-school program. Skaters train in groups by age and ability, with summer, winter and synchronized skating options.

A Harlem youth basketball program running after-school clinics, weekend fundamentals, holiday and summer camps, and a developmental league. Kids work on drills and skills at beginner through advanced levels, and the league introduces team play.
A youth basketball league for ages 4-16 that starts with free Saturday skills clinics and continues into a winter league of 10-12 games. The season wraps up with all-star games and a borough showdown.
A long hillside park between 110th and 123rd Streets with two baseball fields and several basketball courts, plus handball courts at the north end. Kids from Harlem and Morningside Heights come for Little League games and pickup basketball.
A large climbing gym on Broadway in West Harlem where kids ages 8-18 can join competitive climbing teams that practice Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Families can also buy day passes and climb together.
A nonprofit that runs public red clay courts at 96th Street in Riverside Park, plus hard courts at 119th and 172nd Streets. It offers junior programs so kids can learn tennis in the park.
