Families ride up to the open-air 86th-floor deck, and optionally the glass-walled 102nd floor, for panoramic city views. On the way up, an exhibit floor walks kids through how the skyscraper was built and its pop-culture moments.

Small neighborhood clubhouse offering parent-and-baby classes grouped by age from newborns to toddlers, plus a toddler preschool-practice class and a drop-off preschool for 2-4 year olds. New parents can attend free Tadpoles meetups with their newborns.
A Midtown escape room venue with several themed games, including heist and mystery rooms that suit families better than the scarier themes. Teams solve linked puzzles against the clock to break out.
Drop-in class space for babies through preschoolers where caregivers and kids join music, art, sensory play, dance, mini soccer, cooking, sign language and movement sessions. It also runs a gentle-separation preschool prep program and a morning summer camp for 2-3 year olds.
A multi-floor observation experience above Grand Central where mirrored rooms and art installations surround kids with reflections of the skyline. Visitors can also take Ascent, an all-glass elevator that climbs the outside of the tower.
The Beaux-Arts train station where kids can spot constellations on the Main Concourse ceiling, test the Whispering Gallery and watch trains come and go. Official 90-minute guided tours explore hidden corners.
Three stacked levels of indoor and outdoor decks atop 30 Rockefeller Plaza give kids wide-open views of Central Park and the Empire State Building. Add-on experiences include a rotating open-air SKYLIFT platform and a photo op on a replica steel beam.
