Two year-round indoor ice rinks on Pier 61 offering Learn to Skate classes from age 3, figure skating instruction and public skating sessions. Coaches help young skaters build balance and confidence on the ice.
A city recreation center with a gym, indoor pool and fitness spaces where kids can play basketball and join youth programs. Youth memberships are free.
A West Chelsea climbing gym with bouldering, rope climbing and training boards. Kids 12 and under can climb during set daytime hours, and the gym offers classes and summer climbing camps for all levels.
