At Kew Gardens Hills Library, the youth collection covers everything from lap-sized board books to graphic novels, and the space doubles as a quiet after-school spot for Kew Gardens Hills students. Recurring kids' programs lately have included Toddler Time, Monday Morning Craft, Play Time and Baby and Me. It also has Sunday hours and has offered a reading group for kids with special needs.

The weekly lineup has recently included bilingual storytimes, STEM activities, crafts and video game hours.
